Today was a solid, satisfying kind of day. I woke up to a minor annoyance — a small drain fly problem that had crept back into the house. I dealt with the same issue last year, so I already knew the fix: boiling hot water from the kettle poured straight down every drain. I spent the first part of the morning methodically taking care of it, then brewed myself a nice cup of tea and eased into the day.

Once the practical stuff was handled, I settled in for some The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I focused on preparation for an upcoming boss fight — gathering resources, cooking hearty meals for healing, stocking up on arrows, and collecting bomb flowers. It felt good to be methodical and ready rather than rushing in unprepared.

In the afternoon I headed out for grocery shopping. I kept it practical and restrained, picking up only what I truly needed and a few comforting staples to stretch through the coming days: Strawberry Rhubarb Jam, a few cans of soup, fresh milk, bread, and other everyday essentials. I absolutely love the striking look she had in that role — those intense, captivating features, the dark, flowing hair, and that confident, sultry energy.
