 The day started off gently and productively, which felt like a small victory. I woke up, took a long, refreshing shower, tackled the dishes that had piled up, and brewed a fresh pot of coffee. Now I’m just relaxing with my mug in hand, waiting to get picked up for a dog-sitting gig that runs until noon. After that, my private worker will take me grocery shopping, and later this evening I’ll be recording a new podcast episode with my friend. We’re doing a watered-down Pokémon Nuzlocke randomizer run—should be a lot of fun and a nice way to unwind.

Yesterday I put in a few more hours on Spiritfarer, and it absolutely wrecked me emotionally. I had forgotten how heavy the game’s themes are.
