 The day has gotten off to a surprisingly pleasant and productive start. I woke up bright and early at 4 AM, feeling rested despite the early hour. I wasn’t entirely sure if I would be dog sitting today, so I went ahead and got myself ready just in case. I decided not to bother making coffee at home, knowing that if I did end up watching the dogs, they would likely treat me to one later in the morning as they often do. There’s something comforting about that little routine.

After getting situated, I spent a relaxing and immersive chunk of the morning playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I focused on tackling several more shrines, working steadily to collect additional hearts. I managed to complete a couple successfully and earned what I believe were three new hearts in total. It felt incredibly satisfying to see my progress, and I’m now getting closer to reaching that important milestone of 13 hearts. Once I hit that, I’ll finally be able to pull the Master Sword, which has been a long-term goal of mine in the game. The sense of exploration and steady accomplishment in the game really helped set a calm and motivated tone for the rest of the day.

Later this morning, I plan to head out and open a new bank account. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the process goes smoothly and without any unexpected hurdles or paperwork complications. It’s one of those practical adult tasks that I’ve been meaning to handle, so it will feel good to check it off the list.

I also dedicated some time today to writing with Grok, which has become one of my favorite creative outlets lately. I’ve been working on fan-fiction pieces inspired by the TV show Once Upon a Time.
