Today has been a rough one. I woke up exhausted after a strange, restless night. I was caught in that hazy space between sleep and waking, half-dreaming that a TV show was actually happening in real life. I finally jolted awake around 2:30 a.m. and never really got back into a solid sleep, so I’ve been running on empty all day.

I spent some time exploring in Breath of the Wild, hunting for more shrines. I’m sitting at 12 hearts and need 13 to pull the Master Sword, so I’m only a few shrines away. I just need to figure out how to get deeper into the Lost Woods. It felt good to make a little progress even while tired.

The bank situation is still dragging on. Their systems were down yesterday, so my appointment got canceled. They called today to reschedule, but I’m dog-sitting until 5 or 5:30, which made it impossible. I pushed it to Monday at 4 p.m. Hopefully everything goes smoothly then.

One thing that genuinely annoyed me yesterday was my private worker. He’s been paid extra by a client’s family to stay with him (someone from the old autism program), and when I mentioned my bank appointment falling through, he immediately said he was going to take off early. He’s supposed to be giving me my full three hours, and he’s getting paid for that time with me, but apparently this other client “couldn’t be alone for three hours” even though he’s said before that the guy is fine on his own. It’s the first time something like this has happened, so I’m not going to make a big deal out of it, but it left a bad taste.

On a more routine note, I’m catching up on laundry today. Normally I’d do it on Monday so I could drop it off when my worker picks me up, but the schedule got thrown off.
