 Today turned out to be a solid, productive day. I woke up early at 4 AM, feeling refreshed. I showered, got dressed, and brewed myself a fresh cup of coffee to start the morning right. By 5 AM I was picked up and headed over to my folks’ place to dog sit. Dad mentioned he might finish work around noon, though nothing was confirmed. It was nice spending the morning there, keeping the dogs company in the quiet house.

Once dog sitting wrapped up, I caught the bus to work, picked up my paycheck, and powered through my shift. After clocking out, I headed straight home, made another coffee, and started getting ready for the evening.
