Today began in the quiet hours before dawn. I woke at 3 a.m. and, despite my best efforts, couldn’t drift back to sleep. Instead, I rose, made myself a fresh pot of coffee, and spent the early morning scrolling through TikTok while preparing everything I’d need for the day ahead. By 5 a.m. the house was still and peaceful as I took the garbage out, letting the cool night air wake me fully.

Once back inside, I savored my coffee and spent a relaxing stretch playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, steadily working through one of the quests that’s been on my list. There’s something meditative about exploring Hyrule in the early hours.

A large part of today will be spent dog-sitting for the family. My private worker will pick me up soon, and when I return home I’ll be checking the mail anxiously for my new ID.
